After several weeks of absence, I am happy to announce I have completed my bachelor's in plant biological science! I took my last final on Friday...and I have to admit, a sense of giddy excitement in anticipation for what comes next washed over me. While I am not really on vacation, as now begins the arduous task of studying for the GRE and researching graduate schools where I'd like to complete my Ph. D, I will still take the time to enjoy some much needed sewing! What better way to start that off than to jump right into a sewing challenge? I have several cotton fabric stashes stowed away for "later use". Two of which I am seriously considering using for this project. Both are appropriate for fall and I can't wait to get started! I am still contemplating several patterns, but I will keep you posted once I decide where exactly I plan on going with this.
I might as well mention, that it was my birthday last week (in the middle of four exams, naturally). My gift to myself, was to do something colourful with my hair...before facing the real world for interviews and what not. So...there you have it, not at all vintage...but teal does brighten things up a bit (especially for my relatively desaturated fall/winter wardrobe)! I've always liked darker hair on myself anyway.
